I dabbled in that stuff myself before moving on to other fields. Among other things, a story of mine was a Year Three finalist for the "Writers of the Future" series, without me even being a Scientologist, hardy-har. However, I must have taken fifth out of the five finalists for that quarter, as the other four made the book.
Cool! I made the quarter-finals in the Writers of the Future once.
Writing's a ton of work, but it is rewarding to see your name in print.
